Beng Who Cooks, a stall at Hong Lim Food Centre, will offer free meals to anyone in need for the entire circuit breaker period, it announced in an Instagram post on April 6. Co-owned by Jason Chua and Hung Zhen Long, the two-year-old stall serves up protein bowls with healthy sides such as cherry tomatoes, broccoli and onsen eggs. From April 7 to May 4, they are offering chicken, fish, soba and beef stew sets, which range from $6 to $7. But anyone who is «hanging tough» and struggling to put food on the table can DM them on Instagram for a free meal that can be collected or delivered the next day, they said.
