Gunmen attacked a PDP consultative meeting in Calabar South, Cross River State, and three people were injured. Since the attack, the PDP and the APC have been trading blame, with each party pointing at the other over the violence. The exchange of accusations has deepened the hostility between the two camps after the assault.
