President Bola Tinubu has told the leadership of the City Boy Movement that the coming election is about the future of Nigerian youths rather than any single candidate. He delivered the message during an audience with the group, a political network that rallies younger supporters behind the president. Tinubu framed the vote as a decision that will shape the country his young backers will live in. He told them plainly that they were campaigning for their own future. Members were encouraged to keep mobilizing ahead of the polls. City Boy Movement has grown into one of the more visible youth platforms within the ruling All Progressives Congress. His remarks point to a strategy that leans heavily on younger voters as the election draws near.
