Police in Turkey have carried out synchronized raids across seven provinces, with the operation coordinated from Ankara. The action targeted suspects accused of involvement in prostitution and obscenity offenses. Investigators opened the case after combing through content that suspects had posted on social media platforms and other online channels. Prosecutors secured detention warrants for 54 people in connection with the inquiry. During the raids, officers managed to detain 45 of the suspects on the list. The remaining nine could not be found when the operations unfolded. Authorities say work is continuing to track down the fugitives and bring them in. Officials have not given details on when the remaining arrests might happen.
