The Malaysian Fire and Rescue Department has prepared for the Northeast Monsoon by mobilizing a large force. A total of 25,592 officers and personnel have been assigned to the effort. The department has also deployed 1,248 assets to handle potential emergencies. These preparations are based in Kuala Lumpur.
