A feedlot in Santa Fe linked to ACA has earned an international animal welfare certification. It is the first establishment of its kind in the country to achieve this. The facility produces approximately 60,000 head of cattle annually. The Welfair recognition evaluates animal health and behavior. It also reviews housing and feeding conditions.
