The Vladislav Hall at Prague Castle hosted a ceremonial event on October 28 shortly before 8 p.m. President Petr Pavel organized the gathering to mark the anniversary of the creation of an independent Czechoslovakia. During the ceremony, the president handed out or loaned state decorations. Many politicians and other well-known figures attended the event. Guests arrived at the festive evening accompanied by their partners.
