Iva Janžurová recently celebrated her 85th birthday and received the Order of the White Lion from President Petr Pavel. She has been a member of the National Theatre for nearly 40 years. In a conversation, she spoke about her determination to pursue acting despite early opposition. She discussed her approach to roles and the loss of the love of her life.
Působí křehce, ale taky odhodlaně. V úterý 19. května oslavila pětaosmdesátiny, 28. října jí prezident Petr Pavel propůjčil Řád Bílého lva. V šatně Národního divadla, jehož členkou je Iva Janžurová bezmála 40 let, jsme si povídaly o věnu sudiček, vzdoru, hledání vlastní cesty i klíče k roli a taky o pomstě minulého režimu. Ani ztrátu životní lásky jsme nevynechaly.
