The African Democratic Congress announced that it is delaying the start of its presidential campaign in Sokoto. The postponement follows accusations that the state authorities instructed hotels to refuse bookings for the event. Party officials said the allegations forced them to revise their schedule. The decision was reported by a national newspaper.
