The criminal organization known as the Ugly Ones threatened the former owner of Yemeksepeti, Nevzat Aydın. A person identifying as K.A. from the group demanded 1 million euros. The individual threatened to kill Aydın's son if the money was not paid. Aydın has filed a formal complaint regarding the extortion attempt.
