A Family and Women's Council will be established within the Organization of Turkic States under the patronage of Emine Erdoğan. During the first High Honor Board Meeting, Emine Erdoğan stated that women having strong and active roles in society is not a foreign experience to their civilization. She noted that this experience should be transformed into a perspective specific to the Turkic world. This approach should align with the social realities and priorities of their societies. It must also respect their cultural sensitivities.
Emine Erdoğan'ın himayelerinde Türk Devletleri Teşkilatı bünyesinde "Aile ve Kadın Konseyi" kurulacak. TDT Aile ve Kadın Konseyi 1. Yüksek Onur Kurulu Toplantısı'nda konuşan Emine Erdoğan, "Kadınların toplum hayatında güçlü ve etkin bir konumları olması, medeniyet coğrafyamıza yabancı bir tecrübe değildir. Yapmamız gereken, bu tecrübeyi toplumlarımızın kültürel hassasiyetleriyle, öncelikleriyle ve sosyal gerçeklikleriyle örtüşen, Türk dünyasına özgü bir perspektife dönüştürmektir" dedi.
