An art collection saved from earthquake ruins will be auctioned in Christchurch. The collection belonged to The Press newspaper and was kept in the newsroom during the Canterbury earthquakes in February 2011. The items will be sold without reserve on October 31 at the House of Huia. The sale features historical works from New Zealand. Notable items include pieces by Walter Armiger Bowring and paintings by Annie Elizabeth Kelly.
